Costa Blanca is located a few meters from our Mediterranean Sea, in it we have 250km of marine coast full of charming places such as (coves, both stone and sandy beaches, restaurants, natural areas, cliffs, lakes and rivers …) And all that in our province of Alicante.

Our Campsite El Torres wants to show you 11 most beautiful places and villages to see in Costa Blanca.

Calpe
Peñón d’Ifach
One of the most visited places in Calpe is the Peñón dIfach, with a charming route that passes through the tunnel and leaves us on a great climb of 330m high. You should visit it at least once, it’s an unforgettable experience! A walk through Plaza de la Villa to enjoy remains of ancient walls and Roman ruins.

Lagoon “Las Salinas”
In Calpe there is also a place where children can enjoy a lot. This is Las Salinas, an ancient salty lagoon, which was previously engaged in salt production. It is very well known because it is also a very important area of passage for birds, with birds known as flamingos. The lagoon has trails and viewpoints that surround it.

Denia
The urban center of Denia is small, so it is very easy to walk it throughout the day and visit all its places.

Castle of Denia
The Castle of Denia is located at the highest point of the city. It is a very special element in this municipality since it is a fortress of Islamic origin, built in the XI and XII centuries. Inside they have an archaeological museum with different pieces of origin.

From the Castle of Denia, they have a viewpoint where they can look over the city or the Mediterranean.

Old Town of Denia

The main thoroughfare of the historic center is Calle de Loreto and it is a great gastronomic axis. On Calle Magallanes, you can find the great Denia market, where you can find products from the land and the sea, totally fresh brought directly from the fish market.

Altea
The town of Altea is well known for its white facades and stone sidewalks. It is a very beautiful village with a fishing tradition, which we highly recommend visiting, you can visit today,

From our Campsite El Torres it takes approximately 30 minutes by car.

Promenade of Altea.
Once in Altea, you can walk along the promenade that starts at the Port and runs along a part of the coast of Altea, in it you can find many restaurants where you will find a Mediterranean gastronomic meal dedicated to fish and rice of a high quality.

We can also find ice cream parlors with ice cream of unique flavors!

Port of Altea
From the port you can find very beautiful views next to our Mediterranean Sea, it has 500 moorings for boats.

Old Town of Altea
We recommend you to visit the old town of Altea, in summer it is one of the most visited old towns, for its famous stone streets, the little houses with their blue tiles, the artisan stalls … and many more things that will make you fall in love with it.

These streets are directed towards the highest area, where the Church of Our Lady of Consolation is located, it is one of the best known Churches and right next to it we find the viewpoint where we can observe all of Altea from above.

The Garden of the Senses
One place we force you to have to visit is the Garden of the Senses. A magical and charming place in the middle of nature. It is a very cozy tea shop, in which we find a garden with flowers from all continents.

Torrevieja
In Torrevieja we can find several things to visit, such as beaches, promenades or natural protected areas where you can enjoy nature.

The Lagoons of La Mata
In the natural park of Las Lagunas de la Mata located in Saladar de La Mata there are some routes in which you can travel through the natural park and that pass through the salinero site.

The park is made up of two paths, the best known is the yellow one and it is made on foot.

In it we can see typical birds of our area, such as seagulls.

It is equipped with three picnic areas where you can stop and have a small picnic or just to rest and beautiful views of the Laguna de la Mata.

The second road is only for cycling, since it is a more difficult road and with a distance of 5200 meters full of forests in our area.

One of the most special corners of Torrevieja is La Mata beach.

A beach of 2000 meters and white sand, with Mediterranean waters where you can find a wide variety of maritime activities such as diving and snorkeling, kayak or paddle surf rental and boat trips.)

Water Mill Park
For the little ones of the house we also have some places to recommend such as the Molino del Agua park which is one of the best known natural parks in Torrevieja, with a very typical vegetation of Costa Blanca mainly stone pines.

In the past, water was extracted from an aquifer in this area but it is currently closed. This park has a large extension by the sea so it is highly recommended to take a good walk and disconnect from everything a little. And it has a reconstruction of the old windmill in the main square that was used to grind grain and salt.

A place to enjoy some views and a good picnic with friends or family!

Aquapark Flamingo
And another place to visit in hot weather either with the kids, friends or family is the Flamingo Aquapark.

It is open from the end of May to the end of September with a schedule from 11 to 19 hours, suitable to enjoy a good morning!

It has different swimming pools of different sizes, many slides and a solarium area with a pool in a quieter space.

They have free parking, cafes, soft drinks and ice cream stands to beat the heat, free hammock areas, changing rooms, showers and lockers to store personal belongings.

Jávea
Jávea is a town located between Teulada and Dénia, with beaches and coves that are dreamy, also having natural parks such as Montgó, a fishing port that can not miss and many more places to visit and mark a memory!

Most of our towns are formed by an old town and the one in Jávea is highly recommended to visit.

Old Town of Jávea
The old town of Jávea has a Medieval style, you can walk between the walls that there are when in those days they were used to defend themselves against pirate attacks or observe the historical buildings.

Molinos de Les Planes
In Cabo de San Antonio, we can find the well-known mills of Les planes, eleven constructions of the fourteenth century.

At that time these mills were very important, they are of a large wooden structure and large mechanisms that made large stone grinding wheels roll.

The Lighthouse of the Nao
In the Faro de la Nao if the day is clear, you can find stunning views of our Mediterranean Sea, you can even see the silhouette of Ibiza.

Cova Tallada
One of the most interesting hiking trails to do in Jávea is the Cova Tallada,

It is a cave above sea level that once served as a quarry for the Muslims, they took the rocks out of this cave and used them for construction.

Arenal Beach
Our Arenal beach is located in the center of Jávea, the waters are shallow so it is ideal to go with children. You can also go to explore the promenade, it is inhabited by several stalls, restaurants and bars with a terrace where you can have a soft drink or a drink with friends, family or alone, as you prefer!

Alicante

Santa Barbara Castle

Next to El Torres beach is our beloved Camping El Torres and restaurant El Treból. On the beach we also have our Ephemeral beach bar. We take care that there is always a good atmosphere on the beach, in summer when we have our beach bar we like that all the client leaves satisfied and with a memory of our facilities.

We have a great variety in our menu and a gastronomy to lick your fingers, our fish comes directly from our bay.

On the promenade we also have a grove in which you can find benches with shadows to sit and rest or just observe the views and the Torre de San Jose, a funerary monument in honor of Lucio Terencio Mancino, located on the same promenade.

Moors and Christians Festivals
If you visit Villajoyosa on the dates of July 24 to 31, you must live this experience at least once. A tradition that we have celebrated for 250 years, a recreation of a naval combat to conquer Villajoyosa.

Between those dates, they perform parades, landings, a great reconquest between them and gastronomic competitions of our people, fireworks and much more.

The Gastronomic Village
The city council of Villajoyosa created the brand La Vila gastronómica in honor of the fame we have of a high gastronomic quality of fishing tradition in which several annual events are held in which they make a gala of their culinary skills.

The hanging houses and the old town of Villajoyosa
The hanging houses of Villajoyosa are located in the center of the village and just below the hanging houses is the Amadori River promenade, which takes us to the beginning of the central beach of Villajoyosa.

In the old town we find the old Church and restaurants where you can try the gastronomy of Villajoyosa.

Chocolate factory and museum Valor
You should visit if or if our factory or our museum of chocolates Valor.It was inaugurated in 1998, fábricas valor gives us the possibility to see the chocolate manufacturing process by going to the factory, to know the process and the machinery they use.

Tabarca Island
The island of Tabarca is located approximately 4.3 kilometers from Santa Pola, has an area of 30 hectares and a length of 1800 meters.

Mainly the island is most visited in the months of July and August, numerous boats arrive every day to have a great time since they are the hottest months on the Costa Blanca.

Sources of the Algar
The Fuentes del Algar are in the town of Callosa d’ in Sarrià, a natural space created between natural pools and waterfalls with water that falls directly from the mountain.

The access for the Algar Fountains is very well signposted, the entrance is located next to the Les Fonts restaurant.It is equipped with picnic areas and areas to entertain the kids and many areas to take photos, enjoy that beautiful landscape and clearly a swim in its waters.

A few meters before the departure route, we can find the Arboretum, a botanical garden with planters where more than 200 native plants have been planted such as (chamomile, rosemary, thyme.. and many more) You can find a parking lot, first aid stations, toilets and security personnel.

Castle of Guadalest
The Guadalest Castle is located in the Marina Baixa and is part of the one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

Guadalest is made up of two parts, The Castell de Guadalest located in the highest part of the town created by Muslims in the eleventh century.

Near the castle we can find the remains of the Alcozaiba, built by the ancient settlers who defended the town.There is only one tower left, restored in the twentieth century.

On the other hand we have the Guadalest swamp, it receives all the water from the Guadalest River, a tributary of the Algar. The swamp has an intense blue that brings out all the color of the valley, a set of color that will make you fall in love with this place.
